I'd like to move a OL-based web app (which accesses a pre-rendered tile layer) to 3D in the form of a spinny globe. Does anyone know of a client (presumably that would have to be Flash/Java or similar) which could load tile sets and give a basic Google Earth appearance? Challenges with text warping of course. I've already looked into Google Eath client and World Wind, but ideally am looking for a nice tight 3D client that can suck in tiles without any dedicated streaming software on the server.
