Any "coincidences" in the crashes? Like when using a particular sequence or format? Any clues in the resulting display / file / messages? Are you using any macros (especially "home-grown" macros)? Have you asked a local friend to try the exact same text & routines (using a different computer), to see if it's some curiosity about your text, or is it a "David Carrol" anomaly?
