In this case Bob is an old time member and only needed the pointer. As
it turned out even that was not sufficient and later in the day I had to
do the research anyway. Funny how people cannot grasp that they have a
responsibility to the volunteers to do some basic research. 

This is a mailing list for users of OpenOffice.  There are a number of 
people on here who voluntarily help out people having problems with 
OpenOffice, or having trouble working out how to use it.  Keep in mind 
that any help you receive will come from a volunteer who's being nice, 
not someone who's paid to help.

So your comment is welcome but off target. Next time follow the thread
and see how things develop rather getting upset.
