Nobody with a brain is actually going to stop using OOo just because it has a ribbon. An intuitive interface is a plus and if the ribbon can be made to work instead of just hide everything like MS does, then it is a good thing. Quit bitchin' and start helping! It has been noted that some people do not like the ribbon mostly because they view it as copying MS. Eventually, when more features are added, the ribbons will be full and will not look like wasted real estate. Floyd
