on  pc 64bits linux/home premium vista, how would open office work (or not )

So you have a 64 bit processor that you dual boot with Linux and
Vista?  In this case you simply download the applicable install file
and away you go.

OOo will work on Vista just fine and the next release of OOo will
contain more specific enhancements for Vista integration....

Huh ??  Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
