So what does this mean, if I may ask?
It means that the consumer loses! We will have to continue buying
machines with Windows already installed and spend 3 weeks to get them to
work because MS updates do not work and the error codes are not
documented and have no meaning. Programmers will continue to write for
windows because that is where the money is and so for thousands of
people that would install Linux immediately if the software would
install with a click or work at all, will have to keep paying for
windows even if they don't use it and field questions on the support
groups about whether OpenOffice.org contains a MS module or is produced
by MS or a clone or why doesn't F3 do what it is supposed to? Now that
the military has refused to be held hostage, maybe there is hope for the
rest of us. Steve Ballmer is a terrorist but Congress worries more
about whether a baseball player had too many muscles. Hillary is too
busy dodging sniper fire to pass a rule that computers be sold without
an operating system, period. It is too bad that the idiots outnumber
the brains because anyone with a brain, given 2 comparable products and
one is free and the other costs $350 plus your firstborn, would never
give MS one single penny of sales. The really sad thing is that the
richest man in the world has never had a product that worked. Floyd
Correction........"that worked out of the box." ;) Further, Gates,
Ballmer, and everyone else at MickySoft are rapists, total insensitive
rapists!!
VERY good, Floyd!! VERY good!!

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
