After adding a diskprofile I managed to create a new virtual disk. The issue

great you could solve that. There is acually a BZ [1] open for that; in
fact it became flagged as regression (thanks Sven). I hope it will be
solved in 3.5.1.

Sandro, could you please add sth. like this line to "known issues" [2]?
* When upgrading cluster / data center version from 3.x to 3.5 the
default disk profile is not added and needs to be added manually for all
storage domains in the data center. BZ[1]

patch sent [3] - it will create a default disk profile for each data domain. If any of you could verify it that will be great.
