All,

Some of you may know that I've given a "Monitoring Tomcat via JMX"
presentation a few times at various ApacheCons. The slides are
available on the Tomcat website.

In that presentation, I introduce a tool called check_jmxproxy which
is a script appropriate for use with Nagios, Ichinga, or any other
script-plug-in-based monitoring tool. It's been hosted until now on
people.apache.org alongside a copy of the slides for each event.

I've now uploaded the script to GitHub if anyone would like to check
it out and possibly contribute back to the (small) project. It's a
single Perl script with a small number of required Perl packages.

You can find the project here:
https://github.com/ChristopherSchultz/check-jmxproxy

I'd love any feedback anyone would care to provide.

I'm not the greatest Perl hacker, so if anyone would like to "fix" all
of my bad Perl, I'd appreciate that as well.

Thanks,
- -chris
