Well…. When you see that message, Eclipse has gone through it’s table of Tomcat version possibilities known at the time your version of Eclipse was published, and hasn't found it. Must’ve come *after*.
Therefore, The version of Eclipse you need to use has got to have been released *after* the version of Tomcat that you’ve got installed. That way, it will have that version of Tomcat in it’s table of known Tomcat versions it can choose from.
