Hi there, to those who might be trapped in the same pitfall:
remote-debugging wth tomcat-native works perfectly. The issue was resolved by removin a proxy-setting within Eclipse (Ganymede): Obviously Eclipse doesn't accept information of hosts to for which the proxy has to be bypassed.
