My grandchildren began High School (9th Grade) in St. Charles, Missouri this
month.

They are using the 2009 Edition of the textbook "Physical Science Concepts in
Action," published by Prentice Hall.

They access this text online, and their assignments are announced online, by
entering their respective user names and passwords.

I have examined the section on Measurements and am pleased to observe that this
section uses SI exclusively.

In fact, I am so pleased with the discussion of Units of Measurement that I
have placed an order with Textbooks.com
for a printed copy of this text. "Physical Science Concepts in Action" is a
*winner.*

At least some students in the upcoming generation will be well educated in SI
