So, the problem is reported by scp. The problem is that crypto10 does not exist anywhere in the distribution. Z12 exists in /usr/bin. The only thing is /usr/sbin is sshd.exe, which I do not intentionally invoke anywhere, unless scp calls sshd for some unknown reason.
What I am trying to do is to use scp to initiate an outbound connection to a remote server. Does this process somehow invoke sshd? It does not work that way on UNIX. /usr/bin/crypto10.dll is missing in the 2008-03-24 release, at least in the version I installed. Am I misdiagnosing things here? /Joe > -----Original Message----- > From: Glenn Fowler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, March 31, 2008 9:16 AM > To: Joseph Kelsey; uwin-users@research.att.com > Subject: Re: [uwin-users] crypto10.dll missing in 2008-03-24 > > > as a test try > cp /usr/bin/@(crypto10|z12).dll /usr/sbin > > On Mon, 31 Mar 2008 08:42:59 -0700 Joseph Kelsey wrote: > > I just tried running scp for the first time on my windows 2000 > > installation of the latest UWIN 4.2 beta and it reports that > > crypto10.dll is missing.
