Because it's only in your imagination that the purchase of one company by
another should mean the inmediate demise of a product.

You already have an idea of what Oracle "wants" or "needs" and want to
project that idea to the world+dog. Why not ask Oracle? Or better yet, why
not let them do what they want to do and see what happens?
