Darn. Any chance of it being supported in the future, or has it just been decided to let that be handled by OS quotas?
If you really want it, and can't code it yourself, you'll have to wait until someone else (who can code it) really wants it and has the time to code it.
Of, if you have a serious need for it, you could sponsor the feature's development.
