It was the 5.4 branch not the 5.5 so you know Remo
I'm unsure of the stability of the CVS HEAD (5.5.x), but you should be able to pull from the stable-5_4 branch.
--enable-spamassassin is only an option in 5.5.x, so if you have that option, you're not pulling from the stable-5_4 branch.
