to vim_dev. Richard has limited computer access at the moment,
so has not expanded on the above. Can someone please fill in the
details and update the runtime for the 7.3 release.
Attached is a patch that should do what you requested. This is against
the latest Vim 7.3c pulled and updated less than an hour ago.
Y'all ought to check on

at the moment, and already has *.txz and *.tar.xz support.
