How can I allow >general access to the pages stored on the LC but disallowing access >(and CONTROL) to my home network? If you get a DSL router with multiple network ports it will block all incoming traffic unless you specifically 'port forward' a port to a particular IP address on your local network, and when you do that only that computer will respond to requests from that port. >I'll need a fixed IP address? Where can I get one, free? Best idea for this is a Dynamic DNS name. This is easiest done via http://www.dyndns.org - only problem is that you have to update it everytime your DSL reconnects, but that shouldn't happen too often if your DLS service is reliable. >And the server software?
