OK Mike, this is the steps you Lady (or anybody for that matter) needs to do to 
forward iMessage(s):

1) Open the desired iMessage/Conversation
2) After opening the desired iMessage (from Conversation), swipe down with one 
finger until encountering the “More” option
3) Double that “More” option
4) A list will appear, “Delete” will be the first choice, swipe right once more 
and “Forward” should be the second choice.
5) Naturally, double tap on the “Forward” option and proceed

I can’t ascertain whether or not there’s a procedure to forward an entire 
conversation thread; I suspect that one must forward one iMessage at a time, 
but I wouldn’t bet the farm on this being the case.
