Richard just posted about turning on detailed voice guidance in Google Maps. I recently tried to use Apple Maps a few times both while in a vehicle and also walking and I must admit I am a bit confused about what happened to it. It seems that when I put in a destination while driving with somebody it just didn't seem to update and I received no spoken guidance. I tried briefly to check in the Settings and all seemed OK there, volume was selected as normal and all that. Has anybody recently done any articles or tutorials about Apple Maps which may help me find out why it doesn't seem to be working as it used to?
