Kingsley,

Thank you for your quick response.

    Cutting a long story short.

Use HTTP Transparent Negotiation when de-referencing the
    description of entity: <http://dbpedia.org/resource/Microsoft>
    from http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com, as in:
    http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/resource/Microsoft. This
instance has all the language data sets loaded (unilike the Static
DBpedia instance). Hope this helps you understand that part of the problem lies with
the static DBpedia instance which doesn't load all the language
    datasets (unlike the DBpedia-Live instance).

Unfortunately, I haven't found how to use your suggestion.

I've tried the following at both dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/sparql <http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/sparql> and at dbpedia.org/snorql <http://dbpedia.org/snorql> :

http://dbpedia.org/snorql/?query=SELECT+*+WHERE+{%0D%0A%3Chttp%3A%2F%2Fdbpedia-live.openlinksw.com%2Fresource%2FMicrosoft%3E+dbpprop%3Aabstract+%3Ftext+.%0D%0A} <http://dbpedia.org/snorql/?query=SELECT+*+WHERE+%7B%0D%0A%3Chttp%3A%2F%2Fdbpedia-live.openlinksw.com%2Fresource%2FMicrosoft%3E+dbpprop%3Aabstract+%3Ftext+.%0D%0A%7D>

It hasn't yet returned any results other than the table header "text" on dbpedia-live.

How would I make your suggestion work?
First thing, are you trying to solve this strictly via SPARQL or do you want to get this data by de-referencing a DBpedia Entity URI?

Kingsley

Thank you,
