Thank you. It certainly looks as if your version and mine is in accord.
And yes - the dot is also present in my version, and I had deduced it
had significance as placeholder for current directory.

I did, and there really is nothing that jumps into my eye, as lookking
bad.
So I conclude that he HP kit is sound. Its the extensions I try to add
that needs help.
