I think the problem is at the X11 side: X11 has specified several clipboards. I recal the app `xclipboard` whith which one can manage the clipboards. In general, there is a clipboard in which the current selection is available and a separate one (or more?) for the copy or cut actions. Some apps don't use the proper one and some apps use both in parallel. The Xvnc only copies one of the clipboards to the viewer side. For some apps and window managers, it's the proper one (it works), for some it's the wrong one (it does not work). > > Are you perhaps running into issues when you mix windows and linux?
