Yup, sure, that's an alternative but it's only reliable in about 10%
of cases I encountered.  Reasons can be :
1) Telephone line is already used for Internet connection :-)
2) Local telephone communication isn't free, so you'd better talk quickly
3) I'd done several times of interventions for friends abroad.  I wouldn't
like to receive a big bill at the end of month :)

        I only used telephone when I was inside company
