Posted by Eugene Volokh: JibJab asks for declaratory judgment that they did not violate the copyright in This Land Is Your Land. Sounds good -- should be interesting to see what happens. And if the parties don't settle, we might actually get a published opinion out of it, which could set a valuable (or awful, depending on what you think of its merits) precedent for the future.
