That is sad.Ed Roberts made important contributions to technology AND he was a mensch. He became a medical doctor and helped people in a rural Georgia community.
He resembled Steve Wozniak who might have rested on his laurels but instead became a philanthropist. I have heard he is a primary school teacher, and an all-around nice person.
