I understand their reticence to use the phrase "nuclear reaction". Do you recall Peter's article: http://egooutpeters.blogspot.com/2012/08/defkalion-says-heni-is-more-proper-name.html I must agree that it is really not fusion and it is almost chemical. For a brief period of time, the polarized H atom in a high energy state looks like a neutron. It is a new kind of reaction and HENI is as good a name as any. Or maybe CANR or CANI. ;-)
