On another heretical subject, I know a scientist that clearly state at the
end of a conference that he refused to ask his students to help him,
because it could ruin their career...
and the job was only statistical.

any real-life scientist claiming that you can work on cold fusion without
ruining your career is...
LYING.

you can state that some may dare , by ambition, by stubbornes, by
resilience, by honesty...

in fact it happens, and it is LENR scientist...
like Ed, Duncan, Miley, Takahashi, Celani, Piantelli, DeNinno, Mosier
Boss...

of course as soon as those normal scientist work on LENR they became fringe.
It is well described by Benabou model.

so clear, so evident, that ...
pfff...
I'm tired by so much lack of honesty with so long education. It remind me
finance.
