It's September 10 in Madison, Wisconsin, and the high for today is predicted to reach 92 degrees. It reached well over 90 degrees yesterday. Humid too.
It's September, and we're experiencing July & August highs. I've lived in Madison since 1967. I don't recall it being this hot so late into September. Weather in Madison for the last two years have been weird. Lots of fluctuations. <Political rant> I think it's God punishing Wisconsin voters for not only electing Scott Walker for Governor, but failing to remove him during the failed recall attempt. Pro-Walker Outside-of-the-state financial campaign funds went obscenely through the roof in an effort to assure that their favorite conservative would remain in the seat. And so go the temperatures. God watched it all, and now's She's pissed. ;-) </Political rant> It's my understanding that Global warming models predict a lot of unusual weather patterns. That seems to be proving out in Madison. I believe the Farmer's Almanac predicts a harsh winter, too. We'll see... Regards, Steven Vincent Johnson svjart.OrionWorks.com www.zazzle.com/orionworks tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/newvortex/
