Hello,
I'm having a problem with voyage linux (wonderful distribution..) installed on a WRAP with 128 MB ram (about 110 of free memory) and a 2 GB CF, and "Squid" proxy server. The whole system is working fine, I just can't run squid (installed as a deb package, with apt-get). When I try to run "squid -z", I always receivee this output:

server:~# oom-killer: gfp_mask=0x280d2, order=0

I tried, without success, to change some of the 'critical' squid settings about memory. My rilevant settings in squid.conf:

cache_mem 1 MB
memory_pools off
cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 2 8 64
maximum_object_size 196 KB
maximum_object_size_in_memory 3 KB

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Roberto
