From: Nancy Shoemaker <shoema...@acm.org> Date: Fri, 08 Feb 2013 12:20:00 -0500 X-Message-Number: 9 The branch/state web managers (and friends) have met as a group at every AAUW convention since 1999. I've been involved in organizing all of those, but I won't be attending the 2013 convention. So this is just a head's up: if a number of you are going to be in NOLA, you might want to find a place/time to gather. Since I'm not attending, I haven't been following the news carefully, so I don't know if there's already been a call for SIG [special interest group] meetings (what we usually fall under). In some years it's taken some "nagging" to get the web managers gathering onto the schedule, so it's not too soon to start. I do like the byline, but I and some on my board do not like the olive color of the AAU. We would prefer keeping the pretty teal that we have gotten used to and use in various displays. It will take getting familiar with the new design. You state that the color palette easily compliments a wide range of other colors - does that mean it will come in various color combinations? The olive green does not necessarily compliment teal. At this point I will plan to use it in B&W on agendas etc. It will presumably be just as clear in black and white.
