Hi,

I'm new to the mailing list :) I hope I could help the community in this
way!
In order to prevent spambot attack I suggest you to install there three
extensions used also in Wikimedia projects:
* http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SimpleAntiSpam : adds a hidden
field and it also checks if this field is not empty. Bots will fill this
field in so the extension will block the saving of the change
* http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AntiBot : framework for
spambot checks
* http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AntiSpoof : username with
mixed letters and symbols won't be created
What do you think about?

I'm copying Manuel, our wiki guru, maybe has has some insight on these. :-)

Thanks,
Florian
