I just realized that Christoph is the man behind KidKit. I had not looked at it too closely before today. I can't say there is any reason for that. In any case, I took a peek today and it has exactly the attributes I find appealing in the TAL approach found in Zope Page Templates.
I haven't attempted to use KidKit yet, but I will soon.
