I could definitely go for that.  We could also add a label for the first
three columns like:

  Progress                                                           ETA  Rate
     0K .......... .......... .......... .......... .......... 21%   0:00 7.31M
    50K .......... .......... .......... .......... .......... 43%   0:00 8.53M

(Trying to label the first three columns individually seems tricky to do in
a non-ugly fashion and is no doubt unnecessary.)
