After several months of inactivity, prerelease 2 of Wget 1.7.1 is
available for testing.
Get it from:
ftp://gnjilux.srk.fer.hr/pub/unix/util/wget/.betas/wget-1.7.1-pre2.tar.gz
(The `.betas' directory is intentionally unreadable, but the file is
there.)
The intention behind the 1.7.1 release is to be a pure bugfix release
for 1.7. Ideally, it will allow us not to worry about 1.7 while
working on new features in 1.8.
Special thanks goes to people who have provided the patches during the
past several months, considerably raising the quality of the new
release.
