I noticed the addition of a `string_t.c' file that uses wchar_t and wide string literals without any protection. This will break compilation of Wget under older compilers.
If the new policy is to discontinue support for old systems and I missed the announcement, I apologize. In that case it will be possible to remove all kinds of K&R-isms from the source.
