Hello,
command line option: -P, --directory-prefix=PREFIX save files to PREFIX/... .wgetrc option: dir_prefix = PREFIX I have two questions: 1) Why they are different? I think it makes wget harder to use, and it's not intuitive. 2) Let's say you had some very good reason why to have "dir_prefix" command in .rc file (I'm in doubt about this, but nevermind)... So far "directory-prefix =" and "directory_prefix" strings in .rc file leads to "invalid command", so they are not used at all. Why they are not working as expected (as an variant to "dir_prefix" command)? I think it's of course too late to remove "dir_prefix" from rc commands list, but it's still possible to include command-line version of all options to work in rc too. I think this will make the wget more intuitive for average user. I don't need this feature anymore, as I did already check wget help, and I know now the "dir_prefix" command, but I think some new users will profit from such change. Otherwise I'm very happy with wget so far, works like charm for me, thank you very much. -- PED - Peter Helcmanovsky - wishing to have 48h days Braniskova 7 Kosice 04001 Slovakia / phone +420 721308701 (_ -- actually in Prag, so don't look after me -- "~/\~" -=- deRATized RAT -=- Being beyond Yer imagination -=- ,_oo_, 7 GODS demo group WWW pages: http://7gods.org `'
