Dear all
I sent an Email to the mailing list yesterday. My Email had 221 words
with1355 characters using the "WordCounter - Count Words & Correct Writing
<https://wordcounter.net/>" website. We know that each character is 1.024
bytes. Therefore, my Email approximately had 1355 bytes or 1.355 KB. But,
my Email came back to me with the following phrase "Message body is too
big: 46620 bytes with a limit of 40 KB". Why is the calculated volume of my
Email different from the one that the mailing list of WIEN2k sent me? In
other words, I do not know how the mailing list calculates the characters
of our Email. Would you, please, help me to understand this issue?
Thank you very much,
Sincerely yours,
Reyhaneh Ebrahimi
