During the Tuesday (6 August 2013) discussion on “Drivers of fundamental
change in Education “ it might be interesting to examine the implications
of Bangladesh’s National Curriculum & Textbook Board, which recently
released its Textbooks for the Academic Year 2013. The elementary and
secondary school mathematics textbook series (level 1 to level 10) are both
in Bangla and English language versions and are *Free to download*. (

Bangladesh is much to be respected for its Open Access (OA) approach to
help improve mathematical learning. I hope we all get in the “front seat”
with Bangladesh.
