Hi all
How can one let Wix reinstall the files it had when a repair operation is
performed? I have config files with keywords in them that need to be
replaced during the installation depending on what the user specified. When
a user does a repair, I want the installer to bring up the settings
specification dialog again and when it repairs the installation it should
recopy the configs thats in the installer and replace those keywords again.
I can do the dialogs and so on, its just the reinstall of those config files
that I don't know how to do.
Any ideas? I remember that it used to work in Wix 3.0 but in 3.5 it no
longer does.
