Marcus, Actually, wix-users is the correct list, as you are asking a usage question. This list is for questions regarding the WiX toolset's own code (e.g. building or possibly extending the toolset itself).
I responded to your message on the other list. Hello, OK I am reposting this to what I now believe is the correct forum. ;-) The attached XML should create the following directory structure, for our product: C:\1Spatial\data C:\1Spatial\data\dam C:\1Spatial\data\dam\log C:\1Spatial\data\lic C:\1Spatial\data\sort C:\1Spatial\data\obdb C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\config C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\default C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\history C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\lock C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\objidx C:\1Spatial\data\obdb\reg The top 4 directories are being created correctly. The bottom 8 are not. I do not understand this, and have wasted 2 days trying to get what should be a simple thing to accomplish, to work.
