Sure, if you select via WPrefs the "do not cover dock" when maximizing, Maximus respects that, so all is fine for the user. Version 1 of Maximus ignored that option because the screen boundary was hardcoded, but now it uses 'usableArea' which is computed before and which does check the flag, IIRC. And I just tested on-the-fly now. Changing the selection of "do not cover dock" in WPrefs has immediate effect on Maximus (and "do not cover icons" too). PS: I am Cc:ing the list because this is a point which was not clear in the announcement. PS2: Apart from the gnome-terminal issue that Martin reported (which I could not reproduce), this patch to implement Maximus plus the other which cleans up the restore geometry logic are working fine for me (I wanted this feature too, so I am happy now). -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
