Wonderful Washington Teachers,

October 18th is quickly approaching and we still have some room in our Primary
Sources class especially for teachers. We are keeping the archives open just
for you from 4 - 7 PM that evening. You will leave the workshop with a
knowledge of research principles, primary source documents related to this
year's History Day theme to use in your classroom, and some examples of ways to
use primary sources in Social Studies, English, and other disciplines.

Knowing where to look for and find AUTHENTIC primary source documents in
archives and special collections are necessary skills for all scholars,
including your students and yourselves. Come join us at the National Archives
at Seattle for 3 FREE clock hours and a skill-set you will use for the rest of
your academic life!
