Subject: NCSS Legislative Action Alert

Hi Everyone--

In the event you have not received the following message below related to
NCSS's VoterVOICE Action Center, I would like to encourage you to follow the
prompts from this very effective program to encourage your local members of
Congress to consider appropriations for Social Studies related programs for
FY2014. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ana Post
at NCSS (Her information is below).

Thank you for your time, and have a great rest of the week.

Sincerely,

Brian Traxler
2012-2013 GR-PR Committee Chairperson

Please be in touch with your Members of Congress to communicate our FY2014
Appropriations Request. By clicking on the following link you will get to our
VoterVOICE Action Center where you will find specific instructions and the
message text ready for your customization.

https://www.votervoice.net/Groups/NCSS/Advocacy/?IssueID=30457&SiteID=-1

For your information, an e-mail Action Alert was sent to over 4400 NCSS members
via the VoterVOICE system this afternoon. Due to list parameter constraints, we
sorted the list to include mostly K-12 teachers with working e-mails, etc.
Therefore, some of you may not have received that VoterVOICE generated e-mail.

However, our goal is to get as many social studies educators as possible to
email our message regarding appropriations for FY2014. Therefore, please do
share the link provided with your networks.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to be in touch.

Ana
