the US Holocaust Memorial MuseumKeynote speaker: Jeannie Opdyke Smith,*
daughter of Polish rescuer Irene Gut Opdyke, will share her mother's
story.  Presentations by Holocaust Center staff and USHMM Fellows.  Seminar
will provide educators with the background information and tools they need
to teach the Holocaust effectively in their classrooms. Geared to teachers
in 5th grade and up.  Clock hours available.

Attend either or both days:

*Friday, Nov. 14*
5:00pm - 6:30pm - "Using Testimony in the Classroom"
7:00pm - 8:30pm - Keynote presentation from Jeannie Opdyke Smith

*Saturday, Nov. 15*
8:30am - 3:30pm - Sessions include practical lessons and acitivities for
the classroom, background context. and considerations for today's world.

$20 registration fee.  Lunch, clock hours, and lots of materials included!
