Me too. In my head I establish the looks of the design have a feel for colors, and know of some images, or a good idea of what I want in the end anyway (I can see the final product in my mind's eye), but I don't mock it up. I go right to Notepad and begin the structure. If I did mock it up as an image first, I'd use Fireworks, though. Cheers.
