Yes,

I faced similar issue on my openSuse, then I had to apply the patch by hand a 
file a time.

Probably the WSJTX internal patching script is not fully compliant with all the 
Linux environments.

Patch provided by K7FU that fixes this:

I found the previous email, unfortunately patch didn't like the line endings as 
copied out of said email. I ended up creating a fresh patch using quilt with 
the email as a guide and that got me going.
