Seems like various components and/or packages that you may or may not
be using, are missing.  Curious why the python exception as well.  When
python scripts fail, who knows what it's done / not done.

     I am still learning the ins and outs of fedora24, don't know if there
is a way to do a dependency check and fix whatever is broken or not.

My mistake, you need to run this command also:
sudo dnf update --allowerasing --best libNX_X11-6
