Bzzt wrong. While Wireshark, if you know how to use it, will provide
this info as well, netstat will do the same. We're talking TCP here, so
successful connections, even if terminated, will linger around for a
while in a "TIME_WAIT" or "CLOSE_WAIT" state.
Similarly, if you try to connect to the wrong IP (as in, there's no
device at all under that IP), you'll see a "SYN_SENT" state via netstat.
