Sweet Birkie lodging still available. We stumbled into a nice cabin last year on a lake about four miles from Hayward--South of town. It is a two bedroom (one with a double, the other with two bunk beds (4 beds)), with kitchen and living room with foldout couch. It has a three nite minimum. It's on Hwy E. It's in the woods, the property has I think 4 or maybe five cabins and the owners' house. $115 per night.
