Hi,
IMHO, this is not a bug. You have not specified the view-type parameter in the
"ejb.bean" tag. Therefore, the default value ("both") is used and the
deploymentdescriptor subtask generates entries for the remote and home
interfaces.
Set the view type as follows:
/*
* @ejb.bean
* name = "MySessionA"
* type = "Stateful"
* view-type = "remote"
*/
IMHO, it's not the deploymentdescriptor subtask's problem if the view-type is
set to "both" and you do not choose to generate the local interfaces.
Merry x-mas.
Regards,
Matthias

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XDT-689
Summary: local interfaces in ejb-jar.xml although not declared in build.xml
Type: Bug
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: XDoclet
Components:
EJB Module
Versions:
1.2 Beta 3
Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)

Description:
I got following ejb-jar.xml (this is just a part):
<session >

Description Bean

<ejb-name>Stateful</ejb-name>
<home>pl.xi.StatefulHome</home>
<remote>pl.xi.Stateful</remote>
<local-home>pl.xi.StatefulLocalHome</local-home>
<local>pl.xi.StatefulLocal</local>
<ejb-class>pl.xi.StatefulBean</ejb-class>
<session-type>Stateful</session-type>
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
</session>
..although in build.xml I ask only for remote interfacec:
<target name="ejbdoclet" depends="prepare">
<echo>+---------------------------------------------------+</echo>
<echo>| |</echo>
<echo>| R U N N I N G E J B D O C L E T |</echo>
<echo>| |</echo>
<echo>+---------------------------------------------------+</echo>
<ejbdoclet
destdir="${samples.gen-src.dir}"
mergedir="parent-fake-to-debug"
excludedtags="@version,@author,@todo"
addedtags="@xdoclet-generated at ${TODAY},@copyright The XDoclet
Team,@author Xi Systems,@version ${version}"
ejbspec="2.0"
force="${samples.xdoclet.force}"
verbose="false"
>
<fileset dir="src">
<include name="**/*Bean.java"/>
</fileset>
<remoteinterface/>
<homeinterface/>
<deploymentdescriptor
destdir="${samples.meta-inf.dir}"
validatexml="true"
mergedir="fake-to-debug"
description="Description"
>
</deploymentdescriptor>
<jboss
version="3.2"
xmlencoding="UTF-8"
destdir="${samples.meta-inf.dir}"
validatexml="true"
/>
</ejbdoclet>
</target>
I do not want to have:
<local-home>pl.xi.StatefulLocalHome</local-home>
<local>pl.xi.StatefulLocal</local>
in ejb-jar.xml
